J.R. Howell

J.R. Howell is a lawyer whose practice encompasses complex litigation, negotiated resolutions, appellate advocacy and strategic counsel. He has practiced law since 2006 and has served as court-appointed class counsel in federal and California state courts.

His work includes business disputes, competition, technology, privacy and constitutional law. His appellate experience includes state and federal proceedings. He has also advised businesses on privacy and competition law and testified before the California Senate and Assembly on privacy legislation.

Earlier in his career, he worked in Blank Rome’s Aerospace, Defense and Government Services practice on matters involving emerging technology and data privacy.
